Cookie policy

This page explains how Brooke Wernke uses cookies and similar technologies on VoiceLab.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files your browser stores when you visit a site. They help the site remember your session, keep you logged in, and protect against certain attacks. Similar technologies include local storage used by progressive web apps.
Cookies we use
We use only what is needed to run the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
| Name / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
voicelab-session (session) |
Keeps you logged in and stores session data (including CSRF protection for forms). | Session or up to 600 minutes of inactivity; your browser may keep it until you close the tab. |
| Remember-me cookie (if you check “Remember me”) | Lets you stay signed in across visits without entering your password each time. | Long-lived (typically several weeks); removed when you log out or when it expires. |
| Beta / invite token (session) | If you sign up with an invite link, remembers that you used a valid token during registration. | Session |
What we do not use
- No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar marketing trackers.
- No third-party advertising cookies.
Progressive web app (PWA) cache
When signed in, the app may register a service worker that caches some static pages and assets on your device so the shell loads faster offline. That cache is local to your browser and is not used to track you across sites.
Third-party fonts
We load Figtree fonts from Bunny Fonts. Your browser requests those files from Bunny’s servers; Bunny may log standard request metadata (such as IP address) under their own policy. Bunny Fonts is marketed as a privacy-friendly alternative to other font CDNs and typically does not set tracking cookies for font delivery.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block session cookies, you will not be able to stay logged in. Instructions vary by browser — search for “clear cookies” in your browser’s help pages.
